Hey Tumblr friends!
It has been SIX MONTHS since the last time I posted on my blog. The second term of uni was hectic so I didn’t have time to blog. Plus, I was losing my desire for blogging to be honest. I think it’s partly because I feel people don’t like reading my blog anyway so yeah, there’s that too lol.
So I thought for my faithful followers, I give all of you a quick update of what going on in my life.
First of all, I passed my 1st year of medical school! Yay! Now, if you don’t know by now, I’ve actually been in uni for 2 years but my first year was a foundation year and my second year (this year) was my first year medical school. I’m now approaching my second year of med school and it still feels so surreal that I am studying this course!
In terms of my walk with God, there’s a lot He needs to teach me and there’s still a lot I need to learn from my Master. He has been so gracious and even though there are certain things going on in my life that I wish it didn’t happen, I am not consumed because His mercies are made new everyday.
I love the spiritual family that God has established me (First Love Church LCI!!! All day every day!) and the beautiful work that He is using us for. Every summer, we have events called ‘The Carnival of Stars’ in different parts of the UK to sing, dance and most importantly, though this, preach and minister the Gospel. So far this summer, we’ve been to Birmingham, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Clapham Common and the next stop is Manchester!!! There is a song that says ‘It’s a great thing to serve the Lord.’ I am so grateful to part of this movement of God.
I have a new baby brother!! So there’s 7 of us all together now! Yup! We’re a big family alright!
I don’t have a summer job simply because wasn’t prudent and I didn’t apply earlier during the academic year lol
I’m currently using oat based products for treating eczema and it’s working tremendously!
Ok I’m just writing random things now and this post is going on longer than I thought it would. Sorry if I’ve bored you guys! That was not the aim of the game! Lol!
Hope you enjoyed reading this! It’s good to be back… Well, until I start uni again!
